There
are no scientific laboratory models that indicate
Darwinian evolution has ever occurred, or that it is
even possible. Therefore, the only other source that
could possibly verify the theory would be the fossil
record - - - literally, solid evidence!
For the
fossil record to validate Darwinian evolution, we would
have to find fossils of transitional forms; that is,
fossils indicating a creature that is perhaps
half-evolved from one kind into another kind. And there
should be countless examples of them if this process has
been going on for billions of years! After all the dust
settles, there are only a handful that can even be
considered as “candidates”.
To be
sure, there have been many interesting fossils found
over the years, but nothing that proves the Darwinian
evolutionary process. The fossil record basically
indicates that huge numbers of creatures were buried in
mud (sedimentary layers). Some of these creatures are
now extinct, while many are still alive. No evolution
here.
If
mankind evolved from some sort of ape-like creature,
then there should be of evidence of that, too. LOTS of
it! Think about it - - - if we’ve been evolving for two
to four million years, there should be, in warmer
areas of the earth where “hominids” were most likely to
have lived, billions and billions of “intermediate”
(ape-men) fossils found. Again, there aren’t any.
Sure, there have been fragments of apes (both of living
specimens and extinct ones) found, but that is hardly
evidence for evolution. People see what they want to
see.
In this
session, we consider (with a degree of humor) some of
the “evidence”, methods, and bias that produces the
fables of hominids and pre-human cavemen.
